Jewellery Care

Every piece of jewellery at SUEN is created as a beautiful heirloom piece to be cherished for generations. SUEN ensures the highest standards in the materials and craftsmanship of your jewellery, and with proper care, the beauty of these jewels can be preserved for years to come.

Daily wear, dust and pollution can reduce the brilliance of gemstones, loosen prongs and claws and dull the surfaces of metals. Therefore, regular professional cleaning about once a year (depending on how often you wear your jewellery) is recommended to keep them in excellent shape.

Jewellery Care | SUEN

General rule of thumb

Here are some simple, basic care instructions which can help preserve your jewellery.

  • Take care to protect your jewellery from impact, especially against hard surfaces and avoid contact with abrasive surfaces.
  • Gemstones can scratch other gemstones and wear away at precious metals. Avoid stacking those rings and bracelets that would be vulnerable to such abrasion. Store them separately.
  • Extreme temperatures, perfumes, cosmetics and household chemicals can also damage jewellery.
